Eminem Live @ The National Bowl, Milton Keynes, UK

Shady/Aftermath in the house, including Eminem, 50 Cent, D12 & Obie Trice, plus Cypress Hill and Xzibit. DJ's Tim Westwood and Zane Low kicked of this special UK show, hosted by BBC's Radio 1 - and what a cracking show it was - as Tim Westwood said later - it was "Hip Hop history in the making, man!"

Arriving to hear Mr Westwood spinning everyone's favourite hip hop tunes, the ilikemusic.com team arrived and weaved our way through the crowds to the grassy knoll on the far side of the Bowl. It was a glorious hot day and, by the time Cypress Hill took to the stage, the bowl was rammed. Naturally Cypress Hill rocked - fusing the songs they're most famous for with more rock-fuelled numbers. Unfortunately for the band and the fans, the mic and sound kept cutting out, just as B Real was getting really into each song. This happened a few times, but we were treated to a fine bit of improvisation from Cypress's drummer on the bongos and B Real on the drums and cymbals. All this received rapturous cheers and applause from the audience who felt for Cypress. Their performance was cut short and they didn't get the chance to play 'Hit From The Bong' but made a good impression nonetheless.
