Buck 65

London 100 Club, July 6th and 7th 2004

"If endless bling is getting you down, this demanding, detailed stuff is just the tonic" - NME

"Somewhere between UNKLE at their most effective and Tom Waits at his 'Swordfishtrombones' best" - Mojo

"Stands somewhere between Endtroducing, Beck and the spooky country of Jim White, which is a very excellent place to be" - The Telegraph

Demand for Buck 65's debut full live band show on July 6th of free-flowing, expressive hip-hop-meets-country-meets-rock-meets-stand-up-and-everything-else has been so great that a second show on July 7th has been added. Y'know, phenomenal public demand and all that shizzle.

The gigs represent Buck's first full live band performances in the UK. Tickets are available now from the usual agents at a price of £9 in advance. Support comes from Feist and Shary Boyle.

Buck's current album 'Talkin' Honky Blues' has been widely praised by the press and also recently won Best Alternative Album at the Juno Awards. Since its release Buck - aka Rich Terfry - has been a road hog with endless touring and has also released two limited edition singles in the form of the skewed-pop genius of 'Wicked And Weird' and the dark rhymes of '4-6-3'.

A self-remixed version of 'Sore' will follow as Buck's latest release on June 14th. 'Sore' finds Buck - aka Rich Terfry - exploring the darker, desolate reaches of nomadic hip-hop. 'Sore' is less immediate than the previous singles but is no less effective for it; its ominous, haunting tone once again marking Buck out as the leader in a field of one.

Buck and his cohorts will return for the summer festival shenanigans with appearances at Glastonbury, Truck and T In The Park.
