The movie will be released in the US in November and in the UK in January and stars 50 (Curtis Jackson) with six-time Oscar nominee Jim Sheridan (My Left Foot, The Boxer, In The Name Of The Father) in the director's chair. The screenplay was provided by the Emmy-winning writer of The Sopranos, Terence Winter, and legendary producer Quincy Jones (Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Donna Summer, Count Basie) even came out of his self-imposed retirement to produce the score for the movie. British actor Ashley Walters (Asher D of So Solid Crew fame) also has a role in the film which follows on from his critically acclaimed role in UK film Bullet Boy.
50's autobiography, "From Pieces To Weight" is out now and the computer game featuring 50 Cent, "Bulletproof", will be released in November.
The last UK date of his European tour is at Wembley Pavillion on October 16th with Mobb Deep, MOP, Olivia, Banks and Buck in support.
