Blak ProphetZ interview by MR CRF

I mean real hiphop heads will definitely appreciate an album like this.It might be a new 2005 release but this sort of album takes me back to the golden era.The Mcs have got mad skills and the production is quality.I can tell you really appreciate the golden days of hiphop. Is this what you set out to acheive?Make an album for the real heads and give us back something we've been missing?

Yes and no really. We set out to make a true hip hop album and an album that represented what we are all about first and foremost. We are from the old skool but as a crew have moved with the times and this album for us was more about just representing us as a group and what we were feeling at the time. We have nuff love for the many golden days of hip hop - the 80's, certain parts of the 90's and definitely we have carried elements of all of that with us. Like all good music, people will associate it with different things and if we can reach both old skool heads and new skool peeps at the same time then that's good for us……and the props we are getting for the album promotions so far are coming from all areas both within the hip hop culture and outside so it's all good.
