That said though there was less money available and many of the elements of hip hop were not breaking through to the mainstream in the same way they are today apart from the token media coverage. Mainstream means different things to different people but it is a positive for us that the music is more accessible to the masses today….I guess we were lucky to be part of a culture that was growing and developing at the core and we wouldn't change that for the world but things are growing and developing today as well.

Like i said earlier,the production on the new Lp is excellent.Who is responsible for making all your beats?

No doubt and that's always good to hear. Sure Shot makes most of the beats and takes care of the production side of things and Willie B is our engineer. Willie B also does production for other artists on the label so to date it's all in-house and that's the way we keep control. We have a strong work ethic and all the elements of a track have to be right from concept to beat, chorus, rhymes and mix-down. We do have collaborations both with FJE artists to bring them through and with other groups around the globe like our extended family Ultramagnetic but in the main FJE is a family and that's extends throughout everything we do……
