Eslam Jawaad - Pivot Widdit

Eslam's critically acclaimed first single Rewind DJ featuring De La Soul got the magazines and blogs chattering, hailing it's classic sound. With his full length The Mammoth Tusk album on it's way, featuring production from Focus, The RZA, and Damon Albarn, it is time to unleash the brand new, second single from the album.

Pivot Widdit is an unadulterated club banger, with Eslam Jawaad giving you a descriptive tale of a night on the town, without all the bureaucracy of having to go out and spend money yourself. Blending a hook that you will find yourself humming all day at work, with a dangerously infectious Arabic tinged beat, it's almost necessary to throw up your hood when bumping this anthemic track. The ex-Mafia affiliated emcee shows a different side to his repertoire, building anticipation for his diverse full-length album.

The massive B-Side Criminuhl is one of the catchiest tracks of the first quarter, with an iron clad hook ready to invade your eardrums and take over your brain. Produced by Focus [Aftermath] best known for his work with Beyonce, DR Dre, Busta Rhymes and The Game to name a few, the beat is equally smooth as it is knocking when played at high volume. Lyrically, Eslam speaks on being made to feel like a criminal, just for being Arabic in an extremely anti-Middle Eastern environment. Poignant, relevant subject matter, on a track that's more than worthy of major success.
