  • JunJun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!
  • Cesar SangwaCesar Sangwa: ilikemusic because... it's there for me through thick and thin, highs and lows. I think about it when I wake up, and when I close my eyes to sleep. I like music because I'm in love with it!

Jay -Z Interview

ILM: Let's get onto England. You're touring in England. Why are you doing it?

Jay-Z : Well, I mean, I've had fantastic shows in England. Number one, the most historic of them, was the Royal Albert Hall. It was just an incredible historic night. It was fantastic. You know, I've been going there, I've been touring there, since the beginning of my career. It was one of the first countries, other than America, to pick up on the music. It's an incredible scene for music over there. There's an appreciation of music which is fantastic.

ILM: Do you see a difference in the fans or the reception of your music?

Jay-Z : It's all soul right? What is all connection is all energy, no matter where you come from or how you speak. That's why they say music is a universal language. The first time you play somewhere other than where you… well, out of the country, you know, than where you grew up, you wonder how people have access to the music, right? Well, I mean now with the internet it's normal. Before it was like, how you even know these records so loud?
