‘Hush’ - LL Cool J

LL COOL J… the undisputed King of Romantic Hip Hop. He set the standards, broke down all the barriers and paved the way for those that followed as hip hop became the most powerful force in modern music.

Back in 1984, a brand new label announced their first signing, the label was Def Jam and the artist was LL Cool J. Now, over 20 years on, Def Jam is the hip hop label and LL Cool J is a legend. Def Jam release 'Hush', LL's second single from his fantastic 11th album 'The DEFinition', on the 14th February 2005.

Produced by and featuring 7 Aurelius 'Hush' is a silky smooth slice of R&B perfection. After releasing the energetic club hit 'Headsprung' last August, LL is back with a mid-tempo, deep, romantic number for the ladies! In LL Cool J's own words, 'Hush' is "real melodic and tells a beautiful story about 2 people who are destined to be together no matter what, what occurs and how we all need to just hush and have faith that we can make it". With a fantastic video, directed by Jessy Terrero, that is already added to MTV Base & Kiss and the song playlisted on Kiss FM and Choice FM - 'Hush' looks set to be a huge hit this Spring.
