Hip Hop Saved My Life is the follow up single to "Superstar" which started as a smash at the grassroots level and turned Lupe into a pop success. The single is out now, released April 21st 2008.
The album, The Cool, which is in stores now has sold over 430,000 albums to date in the US and still selling at a very strong clip. Lupe has a strong digital presence and has built his foundation with solid grassroots radio, internet promotion, blogs and so forth.
