Fast Rising UK Hip Hop talent Reain unleashes his solid debut The Metaphorcast through London's forward thinking, genre defying independent label Stand Alone Recordings this August.

The Metaphorcast is a weighty introduction to the mind of Reain, and is a multi-faceted piece of work. Part-Rhyme fest packed full of incredible word play and urban poetry, part intelligent and insightful social commentary on life in modern Britain.

Reain is a London native, born and bred in west London into a Jamaican household. He has built a solid fanbase amongst the underground fans of UK Hip Hop, and he has earned the respect of his fellow MC's through hard work and determination.

Reain cut his teeth on the unforgiving and fiercely competitive UK battle scene where MC's fight it out verbally through bouts of hardcore freestyling and improvised rhyming. Either on street corners or in packed clubs, Reain competed at the highest level and vanquished all the opposition leaving them stuttering speechless wrecks. His rhymes have also taken him to The USA to battle their finest MC's in New York and Las Vegas. He picked up some victories along the way, proving that UK emcees are capable of thinking beyond what lies in front of them.
