The Doggfather releases 8th studio album

Snoop Dogg is back with a new album entitled 'Tha Blue Carpet Treatment' which will be released through Startrak/Doggystyle/Geffen Records on November 27th.

'Tha Blue Carpet Treatment' features a premier list of production credits including Dr Dre, Timbaland, Pharrell and Rick Rock. It also feature an impressive list of guest appearances from Stevie Wonder, Ice Cube, The Game, Brandy, R.Kelly and MC Eight.

Following on from the massive success of his last album (R&G) which went platinum in the UK and sold 1.7 million in the US, 'Tha Blue Carpet Treatment' is Snoop's return to his roots. It showcases the original gangsta sound that made this Long Beach rapper an instant household name when he made his debut in 1992 on Dr Dre's hit song 'Deep Cover' and the classic album 'The Chronic'. After releasing a string of hit records including the mega hit 'Drop It Like It's Hot' featuring Pharrell he decided this time around to bring back Snoop Dogg the O.G. for his fans.

The first radio single lifted from the album 'That's That' featuring R Kelly drops on the 4th December.
