Rasmus, Alphabeat: ilikemusic because... It makes me happy and it makes me dance around and sometimes it makes me a bit emotional. It encompasses all the emotions from happiness to sadness and it’s fun to play too.
Leon Jean-Marie: ilikemusic because... It transcends. It really creates emotion with someone. That feeling it gives you, it goes through boundaries. To create something, it just breaks through all the walls. When you connect with a song, that is it, that is magic isn't it?

Lalor: ilikemusic because... you can make it anything you needAt long last the wait is over. "The Amazing Adventures of DJ Yoda" is the debut artist album from the undisputed king of hip-hop humour, and everyone's favourite party turntablist - DJ Yoda. With all tracks and skits produced by Yoda himself, it plays like one of his legendary "How To Cut and Paste..." mixes, but this time with the addition of all his favourite wordsmiths. Released September 18th 2006.
With a mind-boggling mix of guests, Yoda's inimitable sense of humour shines through on each track: rap heavyweight Biz Markie enthusing about his choice of morning tucker on "Breakfast Cereal", Mercury Award-nominated Sway lamenting the loose-lipped on "Chatterbox" and old school hip-hop legends Jungle Brothers delivering a straight up club banger with "Playin' Around", to mention just a few. Yoda holds it down all by himself on "Wheels" - the first single from the album. The 24 tracks fly by in an hour of wit and surprises. Yoda explains:
"Hip-hop has become stale over the last few years. Everyone seems to have forgotten that it was born out of a need to have fun. DJs like Kool Herc and Afrika Bambaataa started hip-hop as a reaction to gangs, violence and misery, not a reflection! My album is all about taking it back to that old school philosophy of hip-hop as carefree entertainment. "
