Weapons Of Mass Belief - 'Black Line Ninja'

Follow up single 'Black Line Ninja' produced by Damian Taylor (Prodigy/Bjork/U.N.K.L.E.) is released through American Blood Recordings on 7th March 2005. "When JG first gave the backing track to me, I heard 'flatlines' and felt a strong sense that the track was a moody chase by the shadow of death, that each one of us is destined to die, it's silently creeping upon us with 'the stealth-like speed of a ninja' says Georgia G.

Banged up in Her Majesty's prison for 9 months at 21, Georgia G was surrounded by cons hastening their own death, 'fly too close to the sun and the heat will singe ya.' "I was surrounded by people who had been jacking up smack and taking copious amounts of crack. I felt the reality of mortality and it sucked. Prison changed my life and it was there that I developed my poetry into rap. I wrote several raps inside and did my first live performance with a bunch of Yardie prostitutes who I worked on the prison farm with!" Georgia will be a guest speaker at the Oxford University Debating Society Union on 3rd February 2005 against Jonathan Aitkin MP and others on prison reform.page << 1 2 3 >>
