BBC Electric Proms Final Line-up Announced: Paul Weller, The Zutons, Magic Numbers and Fratellis

The BBC announced this week that Paul Weller will be the performer opening the inaugural BBC Electric Proms at the Roundhouse, Camden on Wednesday 25th October. In addition, The Magic Numbers, The Zutons and The Fratellis have also been announced as the final acts to complete a line up which sees over 50 artists, from genres ranging from jazz and soul to rock and pop, committed to creating new moments in music.
Paul Weller has always had a reputation for pushing musical boundaries, from his early days as leader of the The Jam (who played at the Roundhouse in the 70's), right up to the most recent release of his 'As Is Now' album. For BBC Electric Proms, the man credited as the elder statesman of pop will create a one-off performance of unique collaborations with heritage and contemporary artists. He will also perform classic tracks from his 30-year career, as well as debuting new, previously unheard material.
