Fergie released her new single Big Girls Don't Cry, the third single from her gold selling album 'The Dutchess' on July 9th.
Big Girls Don't Cry is a touching song with Fergie exposing a side of herself we rarely see. The lyrics are heart felt, speaking of wanting time alone to face up to her responsibilities: "Myself and I, we got some straightening out to do.. It's time to be a big girl now".
Big Girls Don't Cry is led by an acoustic guitar and is laced with strings which complement Fergie's versatile voice which can be heard in its full glory. Big Girls Don't Cry has been produced by the multi-talented Will.I.Am (Black Eyed Peas) and was written by Fergie and Toby Gad. The video was shot in LA and was directed by Anthony Mandler. The lead male is the stunning Milo Ventigmilia from the hit TV shows 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Heroes'.
Big Girls Don't Cry is an enticing departure from Fergie's usual up-tempo tracks - a true gem from Fergie's delicious box of treats.
