ILM: Can you describe the Hybrid process of writing and recording such good music?
Mike: It normally starts with Chris and I scouting through our sample libraries and bits of sessions and things. The way we always start a piece of music, whether it is a piece for a film or a remix or one of our own tracks is by getting a bank of samples together. Chris does all the sound when we do a film track, so he'll trawl through his harddrive and get a bank of like minded sounds and ideas together. Then we start throwing ideas up onto the page.
