He enriched my life through championing my group and he enriched my life though his fantastic radio programme and even now after his death he enriches my life because I get to make a record with people who were my heroes."
Malcolm Gerrie, CEO for Initial, the production company behind the UK Music Hall of Fame, said "The calibre of artists featured on this single is a testimony to the impact John had on music. He was an institution. We are incredibly proud to be induction him into the UK Music Hall of Fame as this years honorary member."
