Mutya Buena chats to I Like Music
ILM: Your fantastic new album Real Girl, is out now, it's soulful, rocking, rnb tinged. Well, brilliant! Which track did you enjoy laying down the most?
MUTYA: One of the most fun songs would be Suffer For Love, just because it was my first song I ever did for the album. Literally, as soon as I left the girls, I took some time out and then I ended up going in to the studio with these guys called Ali and Gus, great producers. I went in there just literally to get back into the singing. Because I didn't want to sit down everyday and be a bum and not be able to still use my voice. So I did that and I showed my record label what I was doing, and yeah, it ended up being on the album. So, for me personally, that's a very special song, because it's the first track I ever did as a solo artist. I've got loads of favourites. For every different song there's a different story why I like it so much.
