Indie Album Of The Week: Best Coast - Crazy For You

Lo-fi guitar-pop is back in a big way in 2010, and Best Coast are about to release an album of sublimely woozy pop songs that will play a big part in soundtracking the summer months, and further down the line will serve to transport you back to sunnier times when the nights once more start to close in earlier Read More >>

This Week in Indie

Week ending 01-08-2010

As if summer could get any sweeter, Best Coast are about to release their debut album, Crazy For You, and, predictably, we are indeed crazy for it. Crystal Castles continue their aural assault with Baptism, second single from the new album, and Bombay Bicycle Club let us into the inner circle with the video for new track Flaws.

If you thought festivals were all about spending masses of money and getting your stink on, Field Day is here to show you otherwise. They're charging peanuts for a stunning line up, so there's no excuse for missing out. Finally, The Knife push the boundaries of acceptable behaviour by writing an electro opera based on the theory of evolution. No really, they did.

We didn't stop there though; we've also supplied you with a free-to-stream playlist to entertain you as you browse, including the likes of Everything Everything, Memory Tapes, Savoir Adore and Male Bonding. Hubba hubba.
