It's the collective mind of the human race.Available for the first time as a commercial single, Love Will Come Through was originally written and recorded for the film Moonlight Mile - a Touchstone / Disney film starring Dustin Hoffman, Susan Sarandon, Jake Gyllenhaal and Holly Hunter.
Travis made the track available exclusively to fans as a download via travisonline.com in November 2002, donating all proceeds to the Spinal Injuries Association, a charity chosen as a result of Neil Primrose's spinal injuries sustained during the band's 2002 European Festival tour.
A highlight on the album for many critics, Love Will Come Through combines a lilting melody with Fran Healy's poignant vocals and was described by one writer as "one of the best things Travis have ever recorded".
Two previously unreleased tracks, both written by Dougie Payne, are also included on the cd along with a 'home video' made by Fran and Anton Corbijn. Full track listing as follows: Love Will Come Through; Know Nothing; Good For Nothing; Love Will Come Through (video).
In addition to the single Travis embarked on a UK tour on March 6th, their first major outing for two years. The seventeen date tour kicked off in Blackpool on March 6th, and includes homecoming gigs at Glasgow's SECC and culminates in two shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo on March 28th and 29th. Travis have been supported on the tour by Keane, a band who are hotly tipped for 2004.
