The wait has been nothing short of agonizing but finally on June 7 The Killers released their hugely anticipated debut album 'Hot Fuss' through Lizard King Records.
The 11 tracks that make the final cut include the dirty disco breakthrough single 'Somebody Told Me' and the ridiculously infectious 'Mr Brightside', which is surely set to become one of the anthems of the summer (itself released as a single on May 24). It's certainly one of our tunes of the month and reminds us of a funked-up Kula Shaka track. Frickin' ace!
The Killers embarked on their Headline UK tour in May:
June 27 - Glasgow King Tuts *CHANGE FROM 31ST MAY*
July 8 - London Astoria *NEW DATE*
The Killers will also be playing Glastonbury, T In The Park and V2004.
Their debut single 'Somebody Told Me' entered the UK charts at No. 28.
