After selling more than 300,000 copies Stateside of "Strange And Beautiful" - a US-only combined version of the two UK albums "Strange And Beautiful" and "Aqualung" - Hales is now signed to Columbia US who are already enjoying US Billboard chart success with the new album. However, because Hales is now locked into an impressive round of US dates - playing to 2000 people a night - the UK release on a revived Epic label been held back until Aug 6th. A single "Pressure Suit" will precede it on July 30th.
A 7"& download of "Cinderella", will also be available from June 11th.
"Memory Man" premieres eleven new Aqualung songs, each of them written or co-written by Hales with his long-time collaborators: brother Ben and "co-pilot" Kim Oliver. Highlights include "Outside", "Rolls So Deep", "Something To Believe In" and "Garden Of Love" which features guest vocals from Paul Buchanan (of The Blue Nile).
