Citadels - The Chemical Song
London based 3 piece Citadels have released their single The Chemical Song through Pure Groove Records.
This release follows their 2009 debut single Golden Islands through Friends vs Records, an up-beat summer single that was branded as glistening art-pop by the Sunday Times, making it their 'Hottest Download of the Week.' Artrocker, The Fly and Disorder Magazine were amongst a plethora of further glowing reviews, including the accolade of Pop Justice's Song of the Day.
2010 sees a streamlined 3 piece line-up creating a more focused sound, as is reflected in their new single, Which has, according to the band, a clear message about "...washing up, the perversion of the liberal-left, and the inability to be grateful for what you have - it's a personal protest song"
The Chemical Song is available on limited 7" as well as a download. Track listing is as follows:
a) The Chemical Song / b) You Make It All Burn Down
Multi-instrumentalists, often changing mid-set or even mid-song, Citadels are a raw and enticing live prospect. With shows that have been described as 'carnivalesque' and 'a dream-laced heaven-bound excursion' (The Fly magazine), you can catch these starlings live at the following dates supporting Two Door Cinema Club:

Del: ilikemusic because... music is life
