I Like Music Because heading

Hard-Fi - I Shall Overcome

Fresh from a nationwide UK tour, Hard-Fi kick-start 2008 with the brand new single 'I Shall Overcome', released March 10th. The third song to be taken from the Number 1 LP 'Once Upon A Time In The West', it's an iridescent indie anthem that soars with acoustic guitars, Richard Archer's trademark vocals and a razor-sharp gospel-tinged chorus.

Written by frontman Archer and co-produced by Richard with Wolsey White, the new single is more personal, expansive and soulful, while remaining truly, unmistakably Hard-Fi.

Available on CD, 7" vinyl and to download, it follows the hit singles 'Suburban Knights' and 'Can't Get Along' - both radio mainstays of 2007.

The LP 'Once Upon A Time In The West' is an 11-track triumph of elite street anthems. Highlights include the Specials, 70's SKA-inspired
'We Need Love', the rousing R&B swagger of 'Can't Get Along' with its stomping Motown lilt, the lead single 'Suburban Knights', plus 'Tonight' with its addictive, piano-driven attitude.

Hard-Fi are Richard Archer (vocals), Ross Phillips (guitar), Kai Stephens (bass) and Steven Kemp (drums).
