Infadels - Love Like Semtex

Following hot on the footsteps of Can't Get Enough and We Are not the Infadels, second single Love like Semtex is released on May 15th. In a whirlwind arrival into the public consciousness with January's critically acclaimed album and sold-out UK tour, the Infadels keep winning fans across the globe. The last single scraping the top 40 on fanbase sales alone.

As the title suggests, Love Like Semtex is an explosive slice of Infadels funk with pop sensibilities. Love Like Semtex proved to be a standout for the critics with The Times calling it 'A corker', 'techno-infused indie rock' - Independent and 'acid rave for the generation Franz' - NME.

The video for 'Love Like Semtex' is directed by Jonas Odell (Madonna, Goldfrapp, Franz Ferdinand) and sees a striking sharp pop performance from the band as well as a few other surprises. Jonas says: " I heard the track and it felt like coming from someone walking around with a radio in his head, much like bands like the Clash and the old 2Tone bands, a wild mix of all kinds of music, but filtered through the distinct personality of the band, sounding totally "now". I wanted to reflect that in the video by mixing strong band performance with weird situations cut into it as if spilling over from an adjacent TV channel; something like what you saw in old Devo videos or the stylish videos of Frenchman Jean Paul Goude. "
