Internet Forever - Cover The Walls

Lo-fi pop trio Internet Forever release their debut single this November 16th 2009.

The 7" vinyl, on Twenty Years Of Boredom records, will feature Cover The Walls backed with live favourite Pages Of Books, and has specially commissioned sleeve artwork by Jessalyn Aaland; the accompanying video, in glorious crackly analogue film format, is by Crinan Campbell.

Laura Wolf and Heartbeeps decided to form Internet Forever before they had even met in real life. Mutual admirers of each other's solo work and firm internet friends, the prospect of making music together was something they were both excited about. Songs were finished quickly by sending parts back and forth via email, and then put on MySpace right away.

Many music blogs, both UK and international, were quick to pick up the lo-fi noise pop project, drawing comparisons with Times New Viking, Los Campesinos! and Casiotone For The Painfully Alone. "Fuzzy guitar plus lo-fi keyboard alternapop... Times New Viking, UltCult - a Los Campesinos affected by the credit crunch," said Sweeping The Nation.

Soon they were in demand to play shows and, with the addition of Christopher Alcxxk, Internet Forever moved from the bedroom to the stage. Since their first show at a secret warehouse party in February 2009 they have gigged all across London, including shows for Vice Magazine, White Heat, Upset The Rhythm, Brainlove Records, Club NME and Sexbeat. They recently recorded a Huw Stephens session for BBC Radio 1, broadcast on September 23rd, and have a spat of releases coming up on both sides of the Atlantic.
