  • Chuck, Simple PlanChuck, Simple Plan: ilikemusic because... It was always a way to escape whatever problems I was going through; whatever trouble I had, I could just put on a record or a song and feel better right away and I hope that our music can have the same effect on our fans.

KUBB

Kubb get 2006 off to a flying start with the release of a new single, Grow, on February 6th. WATCH THE VIDEO

Grow is available on CD and 7" formats, featuring the gorgeous title track and, variously, brand new Kubb songs 'Come Inside' and 'Lucille' and live versions of favourites from the band's debut album, Mother - an album that has just been awarded Silver sales status and prompted 100 critics and industry figures to vote the band into the final 10 of the BBC's Sound of 2006 poll.

Following on from the Top 25 success of their second single, Wicked Soul, Kubb, led by the inimitable Harry Collier, have spent weeks on the road as support to Starsailor and with some of their biggest headline dates yet (including a packed Scala gig in London), winning the hearts of critics and fans alike and picking up many-an-accolade and a performance of the single on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross along the way.

Grow is currently Single of The Week on Radio 2 and has just been added to the Radio 1 playlist. The single is also on heavy rotation at XFM, showcasing the incredibly broad appeal of a band set to make it big this year.

Kubb recently played some UK dates during Jan/Feb 2006.
