Mystery Jets - You Can't Fool Me Dennis

Mystery Jets release new single You Can't Fool Me Dennis through 679 Recordings on 15th May 2006.

The single will be a double A side released on two 7" and a cd and will feature a new and exclusive recording from the band, as well as a Good Books cover version of Dennis and the legendary Justice remix. (NB - A new version of the video will also be available for her soon) 'You Can't Fool Me Dennis' is the follow up to the band's debut album Making Dens released in March 2006. It was produced by James Ford and recorded on Eel Pie Island.

Making Dens received rave reviews in the nations press described as 'a refreshing and genuinely oddball treat' by the Daily Telegraph. The Independent named it 'the most refreshing debut of the year' and Uncut described the band as 'purveyors of a romantic English Pop in the lineage of The Smiths and The Teardrop explodes'

Only three months into the year, the Mystery Jets have already completed their own sold out tour of the UK, taken the NME Awards tour by Storm and completed a whirl wind tour of Europe supporting The Arctic Monkeys and a sold out debut tour of America. The band tour the UK again in May. They supported Bloc Party at The Royal Albert Hall on Wed 29th March on behalf of the Teenage Cancer Trust and headlined London Calling in Amsterdam on the 1st April - a major European showcase of British talent.
