Razorlight - Before I Fall To Pieces
Razorlight release, Before I Fall To Pieces on December 18th, the third single from the #1 eponymous album. 2006 has been a year of highs and highers for Razorlight; Not only did the band score their first #1 album with their eponymous second album and the second single from it, 'America' shot straight to the #1 slot last month and spent a chart defying number of weeks as the UK's #1 radio airplay record. 'Razorlight' by Razorlight has to date, shipped over a million albums worldwide and has been in the Top Ten of the UK album charts for 15 out of the 18 weeks since release.
The accolades have been rolling in too - as Razorlight were declared winners of two Vodafone Live Music Awards and have received two nominations for the Q Awards. Johnny Borrell has performed in front of the great and the good - dueting with Corinne Bailey Rae on a medley of tracks from Beatles' 'Abbey Road', at the UK Music Hall of Fame, conducted by Sir George Martin.
Razorlight just completed their first UK Arena tour playing to almost 70,000 people across the country and their star is in the ascendent overseas too, with international shows selling-out in 5 minutes flat. Johnny beat off the stiff competition for the coveted Q front cover of their 20th Anniversary edition and in an effort to make a difference, Razorlight stood up and were counted at this year's 'I Count - Stop Climate Chaos' rally, performing in Trafalgar Square.
