Razorlight - In The Morning

It will be almost two years to the day, since the release of their million selling debut album 'Up All Night', but Razorlight are back with the brand new single 'In The Morning' from their forthcoming second album, and yes, it's another corker from one of THE BEST BANDS in the UK.

While still indisputably transmitting the Razorlight sound, 'In The Morning' is a shining torch for things to come. Razorlight have always been a band who, when given a challenge, have not only leapt over the bar - they have continuously set themselves new standards.

'In The Morning' has united the four elemental personalities which form Razorlight. Johnny Borrell's ambition for development in song writing has now been given a further dimension by the arrival of 'new' drummer Andy Burrows. With Carl Dalemo's bass and Björn Ågren's precision guitarmanship the band have evolved beyond their indie-kid roots. WATCH THE VIDEO

For Andy, who joined the band two years ago, just prior to the release of 'Up All Night', the new album has given the 'new boy' not just an opportunity to record an album but also to be at Borrell's right hand.

Starting with the massive No.2 hit 'Somewhere Else' in March 2005, followed by 'Kirby's House' which when recorded and released especially for the 2005 Warchild album late last year, was hailed by both critics and fans as a stand out track; an undisputed highlight and now onto the first release from the forthcoming album; 'In The Morning' Burrows and Borrell make for a legendary duo.

'In The Morning' by Razorlight out on Monday 3rd July 2006 on Vertigo Records.

The new album by Razorlight, is out on Monday 17th July 2006

Razorlight play live:
Hyde Park Calling with The Who on Sunday 2nd July
V Festival on Saturday and Sunday 19th and 20th August

And I Like Music for one can't wait.
