Reverend And The Makers to open Carling Academy Sheffield!

ilikemusic.com's favourite band, Reverend and The Makers, will perform a one-off hometown gig to launch new live concert venue Carling Academy Sheffield on Friday 11th April 2008.

The band are currently riding high with the success of debut album, 'The State of Things', which stormed the charts at No. 5, followed by a tour of outstanding sold out performances and high energy gigs.

"Sheffield is a great City, with not only a fantastic musical history but also a thriving and exciting current scene and the new Academy venue is a great addition to that. Its fantastic news that Reverend And The Makers, being such a high profile act, will launch Carling Academy Sheffield in April for a Yorkshire home-coming." Matt Wooliscroft - SJM Concerts
