Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
Snow Patrol release the 2nd single from their number one album 'Eyes Open' on July 24th.
'Chasing Cars', which was first premiered on the band's support to U2 in Summer 2005, was quick to establish itself as a favourite of reviewers and fans alike on release of the album, and has already become one of the many high points of the band's live show. Anybody who was at one of the sold out world tour dates will know it's a powerful moment and the sight and sound of arenas filled with people singing along to this soaring masterpiece is a definite moment, not quickly forgotten.
'Chasing Cars' has proved to be a huge success already in the US following it's inclusion in the dramatic final scenes of one of the countries most popular TV shows. Having already sold 80,000 downloads, the track is growing and growing and is confidently predicted to hand the band their biggest US single to date. Snow Patrol, it seems, are unstoppable.
Currently midway through their second sold out US tour so far this year, Snow Patrol have enjoyed an amazing time since the release of 'Eyes Open', which became a platinum album after just two days on sale.
