Team Waterpolo - So Called Summer

Team Waterpolo, Preston four piece of multiple musical comparisons but one unique sound have already made waves with Letting Go, their debut single and a MySpace and NME Track Of The Week. The track was recorded in the South Of France at Black Box Studios which houses the mixing desk that once recorded much of Chicago's best known hardcore bands including Ministry and Shellac as well as being the desk where Survivor's 80's rock classic Eye Of The Tiger was, as they say, laid down!

Despite having recently signed a long term deal with Epic Records, So Called Summer sees the Team hook up with hip indie Yo Yo Acapulco. The band had already promised the track to Yo Yo and, being men of their word, decided to fulfil their obligation.

The track retains the musical magpie-ism that has seem comparisons with Beastie Boys, Weezer and The Beta Band amongst others but is essentially a rocking set of verses and an insanely catchy chorus that bemoans the lack of summer in the boy's native North West.
