Teenagersintokyo - Isabella/Long Walk Home

Teenagersintokyo hail from Sydney, where their mix of grunge, goth and disco has earned them a fearsome reputation, playing sell out shows with !!! (Chk Chk Chk), CSS, The Slits, Midnight Juggernauts, The Gossip, Van She, Lost Valentinos, Cut Off Your Hands and Damn Arms amongst others.

Last year they released their self-titled EP on Back Yard Recordings, the label responsible for finding internationally acclaimed bands Chromeo and Gossip. It was championed by Zane Lowe and the NME and sold out in both Australia and the UK.

Now they've relocated to London and have been holed away in the Welsh mountains with Bat for Lashes producer David Kosten to record their highly anticipated, upcoming album, to be released in early 2010.

But you won't have to wait until then to hear the first fruits of that union -the double A side single Isabella/ Long Walk Home is out on 5th October on ltd edition 7" vinyl and digital download.

To celebrate the release they're playing in store at Rough Trade East and producing a super ltd edition t-shirt, exclusively available from the Rough Trade shop.
