T-Mobile Street Gigs are back in Birmingham and it's set to be a real scorcher….
The T-Mobile Fan Park will be transformed into a summer oasis on Tuesday 27th June and play host to one of the hottest bands of 2006, The Automatic, with Monsters being a top 10 hit single and their album 'Not Accepted Anywhere' going from strength to strength expect a monster night out.
Parasols, a picnic area, stilt walkers and inflatable monsters will be installed into the T-Mobile Fan Park as well as providing guests with a picnic hamper to create a garden party to remember and give gig goers an experience they won't forget.
Lead singer Rob Hawkins says "We're really looking forward to playing the Fan Park. It's going to be our first stadium gig, ha ha. It's right in the middle of the World Cup so it'll be a great atmosphere and we're going to be on a high from the release of our debut album and Monster going top 5".
The only certainty is to expect the unexpected! Recent gigs involved The Streets performing in London's only lighthouse and The Rakes rocking out a Turkish Kebab shop! A total of 20 customised gigs are planned for 2006 and each one will be a credible and unique entertainment experience in its own right, created completely by T-Mobile in order to bring music fans closer to the experiences they love.
