The as-yet untitled new album will be released on 13th September.
The Cure have announced the title of the third single from their thirteenth studio album (Suretone/Geffen) as Sleep When I'm Dead (Mix 13). Like its predecessors The Only One (Mix 13) and Freakshow (Mix 13), the single has been released digitally and on CD and 7" and is backed with an exclusive b-side Down Under. None of the b-sides will appear on the album.
The singles were produced by Robert Smith and Keith Uddin. The fourth single, to be released on August 13th, will be announced shortly.
Led as always by lead singer/guitarist Robert Smith, the Cure line-up comprises long-time members bass player Simon Gallup, drummer Jason Cooper and, back in the band for a third time, guitarist Porl Thompson.
The Cure have just rounded off a 26 date U.S. tour with two triumphant shows in New York at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall.
