Having previously toured with the likes of Tom Vek and Clor, The Fallout Trust released their debut album In Case Of The Flood in February this year to widespread acclaim. Time Out described the band as "both original and tuneful, bolting mathematical Television guitars on to a defiantly not-crap strain of Britpop,", adding "Razorlight were this much fun, briefly". Meanwhile The Times said "this is the sound of a band doing its own thing, and doing it rather well".
When We Are Gone was recorded in the band's own Q Quarters studios - a Dalston warehouse the band converted themselves in the image of Berlin's famous Hansa studios. Originally released in June 2005, 'When We Are Gone' is a perfect example of The Fallout Trust's signature Arcade Fire-meets-Super Furries hook-laden anthems.
The Fallout Trust supported Morning Runner in May.
The Fallout Trust are: Joe Winter (vocals), Jess Winter (violin, keyboards), Matt Winter (guitars), Guy Connelly (vocals, guitar), Gavin Ellis (bass) and Matt Watson (drums)
