The Feeling - Never Be Lonely
The Feeling will release their third single Never Be Lonely on 28th August 200606, from their debut album Twelve Stops and Home which has already achieved gold sales status since its release in June. The Feeling have just finished a 40 date UK tour (including 14 shows with The Charlatans) and have announced a headline tour of the UK in November including two shows at London's Shepherds Bush Empire.
The band met at college in London. They answered an ad in the back of a music mag for a covers band to play a season in the French Alps, then spent three months living in a shoebox on the side of a mountain and playing ten two hour shows a week for drunken snowboarders. They returned to London determined never to play a cover ever again, set up their amps in a garden shed and recorded some of their own songs. Their name came from the neon sign on a bar in Paris they drove past on their way home.
