The Ordinary Boys release their new single 'I Luv U' through B-Unique Records on January 15th. This will be the follow-up to their three Top Ten singles 'Lonely At The Top', 'nine2five' and 'Boys Will Be Boys'.
'I Luv U' is officially The Ordinary Boys' first ballad, a song with boyishly shy but proudly honest lyrics over a stripped-down sound of pub piano, whistles, lazy guitar and garish strings. It's about trying to tell someone you love them without trying to sound like every other cliché.
Their new album 'How To Get Everything You Ever Wanted In Ten Easy Steps' is out now and features their three Top Ten hits 'Boys Will Be Boys', 'nine2five' and 'Lonely At The Top'. Q magazine describe it as 'restless and inventive' while the Sunday Times Culture describe it as a 'fabulous record bursting with brio and musical left hooks'.
Preston recently made headlines after storming off Never Mind The Buzzcocks during filming, after Simon Anstell took a pop at Preston's wife Chantelle. Fair enough.
