The Ordinary Boys are back with a new single 'Lonely At The Top' and a new album which will be released through b-unique/Polydor Records on October 16th. The band played a short regional tour just prior to this.
'Lonely At The Top' is a head nodding ode to the obsession of the very apt subject of the love/ hate people have with flash in the pan celebrity and the 15 minutes of fame factor.

To support the release of 'Lonely at the Top' The Ordinary Boys performed a live set & an in-store signing.
The Ordinary Boys were signed to b-unique (Kaiser Chiefs, The Automatic) in 2003 and released their first album 'Over The Counter Culture' in 2004. Since then their front man Sam 'Preston' appeared on Celebrity Big Brother which made him a household name overnight. This had an immediate and positive effect on the band's record sales taking their single 'Boys Will Be Boys' which previously went in at #16 all the way up to #2 in the chart and helped take their second album 'Brassbound' to platinum status.
Two sold out UK tours later and a new single release in May called 'nine2five' (a collaboration with Jay Z's new protégé Lady Sovereign) that got to #6 - their highest single chart entry to date and The Ordinary Boys look set for big things again.
The Ordinary Boys third album 'How To Get Everything You Ever Wanted in Ten Easy Steps' will come out a week later on October 23rd.
