As guitarist William Brown said on the release of debut single, "Maybe Someday" back in 2004, "everyone's welcome at our gigs apart from people that think some people aren't welcome". Things may have changed for the Boys but they haven't changed at all.
Following their UK tour in April and May, The Ordinary Boys continue their 2006 success story with a summer spent on tour in Europe in the company of Robbie Williams and Basement Jaxx.
The band will be supporting Robbie for the whole of his European tour, calling in at some of the most famous stadiums in Europe, including the (disputed) home of Italian football, the San Siro, France's Parc Des Princes and Bayern Munich's new Olympic Stadium in the Bavarian capital before ending with five nights at the new Wembley Stadium. Aside from playing to the biggest audiences in their career, the band are massively excited about the tour given their footballing obsessions.
Preston, William, James and Simon are currently working on tracks for their third studio album, which should be released in the autumn of 2006.
Lady Sovereign has been in the US since Jay-Z signed her to his Def Jam label. Her debut album will be released in September 2006. She is just about to embark on her sold out North American tour with The Streets.
