The Verve, Richard Ashcroft (vocals), Simon Jones (bass), Nick McCabe (guitar) and Peter Salisbury (drums) release new single Rather Be available from Monday 17th November 2008.
The single is the second to be taken from their recent Number one album Forth and follows the smash Love Is Noise which was released in August this year. Rather Be is once again self-produced, and is released on two limited edition 7" singles, CD and as a download. B Sides include exclusive new tracks All Night Long and Major Force as well as a Love Is Noise remix and a brand new live track.
The album was number one in the Official UK Album Chart for two weeks running and impressively, The Verve have played to over half a million people this year, with headline performances at Glastonbury, T In The Park and V Festival all going down in music history.
