Richard Ashcroft has announced that The Verve have will reunite seven years after splitting up to play a series of live dates scheduled for November 2007.
The seminal, original line-up: Richard Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones and Pete Salisbury confirmed plans for a tour and new album via a statement on Richard's website.
According to the statement the group returned to the studio in London last week and are: "Getting back together for the joy of the music."
In 1999, The Verve went their separate ways as the relationship between Ashcroft and McCabe broke down following their incredible Urban Hymns album.
