White Lies Announce UK Tour Dates

White Lies, who released their debut single, Unfinished Business, through Chess Club Recordings, have announced details of a UK tour in the autumn of this year.

White Lies brooding new single, Death, is released through Fiction Records.

The track is the first taster from their debut album due January 2009 and is available on Digital, CD, 7" formats. The CD features a Crystal Castles remix of Death.

Since opening the NME New Noise Tour this year, White Lies have played well-received festival slots at Latitude, T In The Park, Fuji Rock Japan and a main stage performance at Lollapalooza festival in the US.

Following their run of US shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, the band rounded off the summer performing at the Reading & Leeds Festivals and are due to head out on a full UK tour in the autumn. The full list of headline dates is as follows:

Tickets for the show are priced at £7, except London where they are £8.50

The band are set to begin recording their debut album in mid May at ICP studios in Belgium with acclaimed producer Ed Buller (Pulp, Suede) and Max Dingel (The Killers, Glasvegas). The album is due for release in the autumn of '08 through Fiction Records.

White Lies are: Harry McVeigh (vocals / guitar), Charles Cave (bass) & Jack Brown (drums).
