Your Twenties - Billionaires

Debut single Caught Wheel was released in November last year and quickly became a late contender for single of the year; Your Twenties next offering Billionaires is no different. Released on Neon Gold Records (Passion Pit, Marina & the Diamond and Wolf Gang) available from September 7th 2009, Billionaires will be available as a limited 7 single featuring artwork done by the band themselves.

Billionaires is produced by the legendary Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur) and with the swooping, sunshine harmonies, big, driving guitars and catchy ooh-ooh-ooh chorus, it manages to sound like perfect West Coast pop whilst still quintessentially British. This is the feel good anthem of the year, so head out into the sunshine to enjoy this gold-nugget of breezy indie pop.

Originally, the bassist & keyboardist in Metronomy, frontman Gabriel Stebbing recently left to concentrate on Your Twenties full time. It was an a amicable split with Joseph Mount from Metronomy heading into the studio with the band in late July to produce their first album tracks.

Your Twenties have recently played in Paris for Durrr (the club night where they played their debut gig back in February 2008) and with inspiration coming from Elastica to picture-postcard days out, Your Twenties are definitely ones to keep your eye on.
