Terry, The Temptations: ilikemusic because... There’s no way I could ever imagine a world without music.
Kal Lavelle: ilikemusic because... it's cheaper than a therapist! ;)
Patrick: ilikemusic because... Music came from the universe...always finding a way into societies from the beginning of time. I imagine it has always been out there waiting for us to show up. I'm so glad we made it!
Sarah Christine: ilikemusic because... Music is like a puzzle. Each peice by itself is unique and looks like no other puzzle peice, but when you put it all together, you expeirience a completely different picture. It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!
Master Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.
Sian Evans: ilikemusic because... when everyone you cared about lets you down (e.g. friends, boyfriend, parents) all at the same time music will always be there to pick you up and help you move on. ;-)
Sharleen Spiteri: ilikemusic because... it takes me to places that life can't
Evie: ilikemusic because... it's a jungle of imagination you don't mind getting lost in.
Benedict D. Mahon Esq.: ilikemusic because... the wardrobes stop barking when the bass kicks inA Fine Frenzy is the music of 22 year-old Alison Sudol. Born in Seattle to dramatic-arts teacher parents, Alison moved to Los Angeles at the age five. With her newly single mother, Alison moved frequently around the city. She developed a strong love for the fantastic literary worlds of CS Lewis, EB White, Lewis Carroll and Charles Dickens, while becoming a passionate author in her own right.
Alison developed the sound of A Fine Frenzy - hypnotic piano arrangements under classic American melody fused into irresistible, atmospheric songs with the power to reach around the world. A Fine Frenzy's "One Cell In The Sea" album is out now.
I Like Music caught up with the very gorgeous Alison to talk about her very gorgeous music, piano playing and Britain.
"I Like Music because.... it makes life beautiful." ALISON SUDOL, A FINE FRENZY
ILM - Sound's like someone's been a bit hectic?
Alison - I have been but obviously, it's exciting times. It has been hectic but it's also nice. I really appreciate it now when I don't have to run around so much.
