  • Jay SeanJay Sean: ilikemusic because... It’s the soundtrack to my life.
  • MARSMARS: ilikemusic because... tom kelly is a great producer and Mark Angelo Studios in London is the best place to record your record!

Alphabeat chat to I Like Music

RASMUS: In the beginning when the band formed it was kind of rock and indie and there were just the three Anders and the drummer and then I joined and then it became a pop thing, so that was kind of a process, although I don't write the songs so not sure of the process of making the music.

ILM: Of all your tracks, from Fascination and Boyfriend' to 10,000 Nights Of Thunder, which track did you have the most fun laying down in the studio?

RASMUS: Fascination, for me, because I went to the big studio and played on the big grand piano and we got the brass section to play the chorus, so it was fun making that track.

ILM: Who's top of your collaboration wish list?

RASMUS: There are these girls called The Real Heat and they're on a tune of ours called The Go Go; that was fun to have them in the studio. We really like our new producer, Mike Spencer. He's really cool and he's given the music a new vibe and sound to it, which is nice.
