It makes me laugh and it makes my cry and it gets me out of a stress if I’m in a stress, and, if I’m in a good place then it will make me in a better place. It’s all about the emotion, it’s all about the feeling where music takes you to and what affect it has on you.

Ash Chat To I Like Music

Mark: I think someone just got in touch and told us she had covered it. Some of our fans don't like what she's done with it, but we love it.

ILM: You're currently playing a handful of warm-up shows, including the Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms and London's Bloomsbury Ballroom. Have you got any big events or festivals lined up for the summer?

Rick: Well, the physical release of Return Of White Rabbit is coming up so we wanted to do some shows around that. We're also doing Truck Fest, Folkestone Seafront and a few others.

Mark: We're sort of doing the smaller festivals this year because we've been away for a while. But we should be on the bigger circuit again next year.

ILM: What can fans expect from you in the coming months?

Rick: We're still trying to figure out touring and stuff but I reckon once the A to Z Series starts in September, we'll probably get out and do some touring then.

Mark: The fact that there will be a single out every fortnight will mean that we have a pretty full-on year ahead of us.

With 18 Top 40 hits, Ash are one of the most successful bands of recent times and are showing no sign of stopping now. Return Of White Rabbit is out now. Keep your eyes peeled for an onslaught of new tunes later this year.
