Bashy Chats To I Like Music

ILM: You're a very busy man but you still manage to find the time for community work. Why is it important for you to keep working on these projects?

Bashy: For me, in a nutshell, anything that is a positive contribution for us and for the benefit of a community, anything that is going to help us move forward is something that I just want to be a part of. To inspire or whatever it may be, a local community project or if I'm talking to youth groups in my area, travelling up and down the country. For me, you've been put on this earth to do something. Anything that I can put my effort into I will do. There was a little girl who was 12 years old suffering with cancer. She told someone in my area that she was Bashy's biggest fan. I just went to her house, It's not for money, it's not for fame, it's not for recognition, but if you can make someone feel good about themselves and lighten up their day for nothing, then why not do it?
