ILM: There is such a huge archive behind us. Music discovery isn't just about looking forward... On another note, do you have any advice for others looking to break into the music industry at a time when the fear of your music being ripped is quite common?

Tim: You have to get things out there. Carry on and wait for someone to jump on your bus. You need to have a lot of self belief in what you do. That really is the driving force of it. People will find you eventually. Truly believe that. You've got to use the interent to promote yourself and not see it as the evil thing. Get your tracks out there and if it gets ripped, so what? If you are too precious about it in my experience nothing ever gets done.

ILM: What are you listening to for pleasure at the moment?

Tim: A guy called Rustie. He is a kid from Glasgow and he does Dubstep - he's f**king great. Flying Lotus as well, he's from LA and is putting a new twist on hiphop. page << 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 >>
